Terms & Conditions – AI Powered Mobile App Hackathon

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the AI Powered Mobile App Hackathon. By registering, you agree to follow these rules.

1. Eligibility

The hackathon is open to students, professionals, and developers worldwide.
Participants must be 18 years or older.
You can participate solo or in a team of up to 3 members.

2. Registration & Fees

Registration is confirmed only after successful payment.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
The organisers reserve the right to reject incomplete or invalid registrations.

3. Hackathon Structure

The hackathon will take place in multiple stages:

Idea submission & prototype phase
Shortlisting of Top 100 teams
Final project submission (for shortlisted teams)
Selection of Top 50 and Top 20 finalists
Winners announced at the Grand Finale

Finalists may be invited to the offline finale in announced

4. Project Rules

Participants must follow these rules:

Projects must be original and created by the participant/team.
AI integration in the mobile app is mandatory.
Projects must be submitted within the deadline.
Plagiarism or copied projects will lead to disqualification.

5. Team Rules

Maximum 3 members per team.
Teams cannot change members after the submission deadline.
A participant cannot join multiple teams.

6. Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

Innovation & creativity
AI integration quality
Practical use case
UI/UX & user experience
Technical implementation

Final results will be based on judges’ scoring and community voting.

7. Prizes

Prizes are awarded to the top teams:

🥇 1st Prize — Laptop + Trophy
🥈 2nd Prize — Tablet + Trophy
🥉 3rd Prize — Smartphone + Trophy

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. Certificates & Rewards

All participants will receive a digital participation certificate.
Top finalists will receive goodies and recognition certificates.

9. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

Maintain respectful and professional behaviour
Avoid harassment or offensive conduct
Follow event guidelines and deadlines

Violation may result in disqualification.

10. Disqualification

Participants may be disqualified for:

Plagiarism or cheating
Misconduct or rule violations
Submitting incomplete or fake information
Missing submission deadlines

11. Media & Promotion

By participating, you allow organisers to:

Showcase your project and name
Use photos/videos from the event
Promote selected projects on social media and website

12. Liability

Organisers are not responsible for:

Technical issues or internet failures
Loss of data or files
Travel or accommodation expenses

13. Changes to the Event

The organisers reserve the right to:

Modify timelines
Update rules
Cancel or reschedule the event if necessary
